Ayahuasca

This beverage made from a vine from the Amazon, Banisteriopsis, is traditionally used only by shamans in the Amazon for its psychotropic and curative properties to contact the spirits and open the doors to another reality where the shaman can see what his patient is suffering from. Many Westerners have experienced Ayahuasca as a cure for an illness (addiction, depression...) or as part of a "New Age" experience.  

Warning on the use of Ayahuasca We cannot recommend its use, which is everyone's responsibility. It should be added that in Peru there have been accidents, sometimes resulting in the death of tourists. The site of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns against the use of this powerful psychotropic drug which is classified as a drug in most European countries.
